HOW IT ALL STARTED
A Passion For Helping That Became A Business...
Back in 2010 when I took my first flight in a private plane, it changed my perspective of the world forever. The excitement of leaving the ground simply because the wind passed over our wings fast enough changed to surprise as I began to locate landmarks that I knew well from driving around town and began to realize how everything was really a lot closer than I had always imagined it to be in my head. I was amazed to see how my perceptions of the world from the ground were not quite right, and I wanted to immediately share the information that had been revealed to me with others. I quickly became a licensed pilot and took family and friends up to show them the world from the air. Soon, I realized just how few people really know their world from anything other than the ground or the occasional commercial flight around 35,000 feet. This caused me to think about how I could further let others know about this unique perspective.
Fast forward a few years and enter the proliferation of high resolution camera equipped drones combined with advanced computer algorithms to put the raw data together to help draw complete images and model the data in various useful ways. This allowed me to apply the science to my passion for serving others and increasing knowledge and understanding. Upon getting certificated as a FAA Part 107 pilot, I took many pictures and videos of objects and property from the air while exploring this relatively new area of flight for myself. People began to talk to me about how these images and videos would be useful to them in their personal life and businesses. Soon, I realized that opening a business to serve these needs could allow me to not only help others gain a new perspective of the projects they worked on but I could dive deeper into the data and unlock what was once not readily visible to the naked eye. Revealing information that others can use in their everyday lives to save money, operate their businesses more efficiently, and conserve time brings me pleasure and makes the work worth it (as cliché as that may sound).
If I can help someone avoid an aggravation and make their life that much more stress-free, then I am glad to do it every day. From the pilot that took me on that fateful flight that would forever change my life and ignite a passion in me to my newest customer, I am thankful for everyone that allows me to serve them and further my dreams to make others’ lives better.
